On May 14, 2025, the Thai Logistics and Production Association (TLAPS), led by Dr. Kiattipong Santabutr, President of TLAPS; Dr. Jamriang Waiwat, Managing Director of Express Network Service Co., Ltd.; and Ms. Walaiphan Waiwat, General Manager of CIF International Co., Ltd., paid a courtesy visit to the Graduate School of Management and Innovation (GMI), King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT). The delegation was warmly welcomed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Taweesak Kritcharoen, Dean of GMI, and the school’s executive team.
The meeting focused on discussions surrounding collaborative efforts to develop short-term training programs in logistics, emphasizing technical expertise, management practices, and consultant development. Additionally, both parties explored opportunities for joint research based on real-world industrial challenges, as well as the co-creation of logistics competency standards aimed at elevating Thailand’s industrial capabilities. These collaborative efforts are intended to ensure that academic curricula remain responsive and relevant to the evolving needs of the logistics and production sectors.
