Overseas Study Visit Program for Students in the People’s Republic of China

The Graduate School of Management and Innovation (GMI), KMUTT, organized the Overseas Study Visit Program for students in the People’s Republic of China for the 2024 academic year. The program took place from February 20–25, 2025, in Shanghai, China, with 39 participants, led by Dr. Kritsada Jutimongkolkul and Asst. Prof. Dr. Paramate Vorasayanon.

This study visit focused on enhancing students’ knowledge and hands-on experience in business management and innovation. Students visited leading international organizations, including:

  • ShineWing – a global business and accounting consultancy firm.
  • Minor Food – a major international restaurant group with a strong presence in the Asian market.

Throughout the program, students gained insights into business models, marketing strategies, technological applications, and innovations in various industries. They also explored business operations in the Chinese market, broadening their strategic perspective for future applications.

Beyond the corporate visits, students had the opportunity to experience Chinese culture, economy, and daily life through cultural activities and city explorations in Shanghai—a key economic and innovation hub in China. This experience served as a valuable platform for knowledge exchange and professional networking.

This study visit not only enriched students’ knowledge and practical experience but also provided an excellent opportunity to build professional networks that will be beneficial for their future careers. GMI remains committed to organizing practical learning initiatives to prepare students for global business and management challenges professionally.
