Graduate School of Management and Innovation Partners with the Faculty of Engineering KMUTT to Launch BMD 4+1 Program, Shaping Future Innovation Leaders
The Graduate School of Management and Innovation (GMI), King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Taweesak Kritcharoen, Dean of GMI, has officially announced a collaboration with the Faculty of Engineering, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tawich Poolngern, Dean of Engineering, to launch a combined Bachelor–Master’s Degree Program (BMD 4+1). The initiative was introduced on 2 March 2026 at KMUTT.
The program aims to integrate cross-level knowledge and prepare students to become future leaders equipped with strategic thinking and advanced innovation management skills, all within a streamlined and efficient timeframe.
The BMD (4+1) program is designed to meet the demands of the modern workforce for high-competency professionals. It breaks traditional education boundaries by allowing qualified undergraduate students at KMUTT to begin taking graduate-level courses in advance. As a result, students can complete both bachelor’s and master’s degrees within just five years, reducing study time while enhancing career readiness.
Beyond time and cost efficiency, the program emphasizes the development of critical skills required for leadership in the digital era. Students will gain hands-on experience in innovation management and strategic thinking, forming a strong foundation for driving organizations and contributing to sustainable economic growth.
Eligibility Criteria
The program is open to KMUTT undergraduate students from all faculties who are interested in management and innovation. Applicants must:
• Have completed at least 4 semesters (for 4-year programs) or 6 semesters (for 5-year programs)
• Hold a minimum cumulative GPA (GPAX) of 2.50 at the time of application
