Graduate School of Management and Innovation Conducts Study Visit at NEXTOPIA, a Prototype “City of the Future”
On 2 March 2026, MBA students majoring in Organization Management from the Graduate School of Management and Innovation (GMI), King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), participated in a study visit at NEXTOPIA, located within Siam Paragon—a prototype “city of the future” that integrates innovation, advanced technology, and clean energy concepts to drive sustainable business operations.
The visit provided students with firsthand exposure to the practical application of sustainability principles and risk management within a modern retail business context. It reinforced learning outcomes from the course OGM 651: Enterprise Risk and Crisis Management, taught by Asst. Prof. Dr. Patiphan Saelim, enabling students to gain concrete insights through observation, analysis, and direct knowledge exchange with industry practitioners.
GMI extends its sincere appreciation to Ms. Nareerat Santayati, Assistant Vice President, Head of Sustainability and Investor Relations at Siam Piwat Company Limited, as well as Ms. Chanissara Samathiwat, Customer Relations Manager at Siam Paragon Development Company Limited, and their teams for their warm hospitality and valuable knowledge sharing on sustainability practices.
This activity highlights the integration of classroom learning with real-world business environments and reinforces the MBA-GMI approach to developing future organizational leaders who possess vision, risk awareness, and the ability to drive sustainable business growth.
