The Graduate School of Management and Innovation (GMI), King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) welcomed its new students with an exciting racing-themed orientation under the concept “GMI Racing: Start Your Engines, Drive Your Future,” designed to ignite a passion for learning and prepare students for success throughout their GMI journey.

The event was officially opened by Associate Professor Dr. Taweesak Kritcharoen, Dean of GMI, who warmly welcomed the new students and encouraged them to embrace the opportunities ahead. Adding to the racing atmosphere, GMI faculty members and staff transformed themselves into a dedicated “Pit Crew”—a strong support team ready to guide and empower students throughout their academic journey.

Under the racing concept, every student was portrayed as the “driver” of their own future, ready to take control, set their goals, and accelerate toward success, while GMI serves as the support team behind them, providing the knowledge, guidance, and encouragement needed to reach the finish line.

Another highlight of the orientation was an Inspirational Talk featuring distinguished GMI alumnus Mr. Jenphop Suwannaphong from Loi Story, who shared his personal experiences and practical insights on studying, working, and navigating life. His stories provided valuable guidance and inspiration for the new generation of GMI students.

To help students get ready before entering the “real track,” the GMI Academic Services Team provided essential information on course registration systems, academic procedures, and university regulations, helping new students plan their studies smoothly and confidently.

The orientation concluded with smiles and a group photo, marking the beginning of a new journey for the latest generation of GMI students—ready to step on the accelerator and drive their future toward their goals.
