GMI Students Explore AI Governance at AI Governance Center (AIGC), Electronic Transactions Development Agency

Students from the MBA Program in Management (Digital Business Management Major) at the Graduate School of Management and Innovation, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), participated in a study visit as part of the course DBM 530: Digital Governance, taught by Dr. Alisa Kongton and Asst. Prof. Dr. Patiphan Saelim. The visit took place at the AI Governance Center (AIGC), under the Electronic Transactions Development Agency (ETDA), on Monday, 9 March 2026.

The activity was attended by a total of 22 participants, including faculty members, staff, and first- and second-year graduate students.

This study visit provided students with valuable insights into AI Governance, covering key dimensions such as policy, legal frameworks, and ethics. Participants also explored approaches to responsible AI oversight—emphasizing transparency, accountability, fairness, safety, and personal data protection—all of which are critical to advancing the digital economy and supporting sustainable national development.

GMI extends its sincere appreciation to Dr. Chaichana Mitrpant, Executive Director of ETDA; Dr. Sak Segkhoonthod, Senior Advisor; Ms. Rojana Lumlert, Head of AIGC; Mr. Thitikorn Trakulsirisak, AIGC Specialist; and the entire team for their warm welcome and for sharing valuable knowledge and real-world experiences. Their contributions provided students with meaningful perspectives on the responsible development and governance of AI technologies.
