GMI Hosts Forum on “Adopting Modern Technology to Optimize Warehouse and DC Operation” Exploring New Perspectives on Warehouse and Distribution Center Management in the Digital Era

On Saturday, November 8, 2025, the Graduate School of Management and Innovation (GMI), King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), organized the GMI Forum: “Adopting Modern Technology to Optimize Warehouse and DC Operation” at the 1st floor lobby of Building N19, and simultaneously online via Zoom. The event aimed to create a platform for knowledge exchange on how the warehouse and distribution center industries can adapt and thrive in the digital era.

The forum featured three distinguished guest speakers:

  • Dr. Kanok Chuthamanee, Business Consultant and former Distribution Center Executive

  • Mr. Theerachot Banjerdrungkajorn, Product Specialist, Jenbunjerd Co., Ltd.

  • Dr. Kiatiphong Santabut, President of the Thai Logistics and Production Society (TLAPS)

More than 60 participants attended the session both onsite and online, including faculty members, students, staff, and entrepreneurs from various sectors such as industry, logistics, and technology.

The discussion focused on sharing real-world experiences and insights into applying modern technologies to enhance warehouse and distribution center management efficiency. Key topics included automation systems, data analytics, and strategies for developing supply chain resilience to address rapid changes in today’s business landscape.

The event was marked by lively discussions and in-depth exchanges, with participants engaging directly with the speakers through Q&A and idea-sharing sessions. This forum served as a continuation of GMI’s ongoing “GMI Forum” series, which aims to foster a collaborative learning network and promote sustainable development in the digital era.
