GMI Holds Blessing Ceremony for New Building, Marking an Auspicious New Beginning

The Graduate School of Management and Innovation (GMI) at King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) held a blessing ceremony for its new building (N19) on Thursday, February 6, 2025. This auspicious event marked a new chapter in advancing education and keeping pace with modern developments. The ceremony was honored by the presence of university executives, faculty members, and staff from various departments within KMUTT who gathered to celebrate this milestone.

The event began in the morning with the Dean, faculty members, and staff paying homage to Somdej Phra Ariyaprom and the royal statue of King Mongkut. This was followed by a spirit house blessing ritual in front of the GMI (N19) building and an Islamic prayer ceremony. The event concluded with a Buddhist chanting ceremony for good fortune, attended by university administrators, faculty, and staff from multiple departments. After the religious ceremonies, attendees enjoyed a luncheon and visited an exhibition showcasing GMI’s academic programs, displayed at the front of the new building.

The opening of this new facility represents a significant milestone for GMI in expanding its academic capabilities and fostering an environment that supports learning and innovation. This achievement underscores KMUTT’s commitment to equipping students with practical knowledge and skills, preparing them for success in the professional world.
