King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi Celebrates Its 66th Anniversary, Continuing the Vision of Innovation and Sustainability
On 4 February 2026, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) commemorated the 66th anniversary of its founding with a series of ceremonial and commemorative activities held throughout the day. The celebration began at 8:00 AM, when Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suvit Saetia, President of KMUTT, together with university executives, staff, alumni, and students, participated in a worship ceremony honoring Phra Ariyaprom and the monument of King Mongkut (Rama IV).
Representatives from the Graduate School of Management and Innovation (GMI), led by the Dean, the Associate Dean for Administration, and the Faculty Secretary, joined the anniversary celebration to express their support and commitment to advancing the University’s mission as a leading institution in innovation and sustainability.
On this occasion, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mongkol Asawadilokrit was also honored with a commemorative plaque in recognition of his more than 20 years of dedicated contribution to the Foundation for the Development of King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi, reflecting his longstanding commitment to supporting the University’s growth and development.
