On Friday, 30 January 2026, the University, represented by the Alumni Relations Unit, University Relations Office, together with Asst. Prof. Dr. Worapoj Angkasit, Assistant to the President for Business Development; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mongkol Asawadilokrit, Associate Dean for Administration, Graduate School of Management and Innovation; and Asst. Prof. Dr. Rungroj Piyapanupan, Lecturer and Head of the Smart Environmental Management and Construction Materials Innovation Research Center, KMUTT Ratchaburi Campus, paid an official visit to Dr. Piya Chutinan, Director of the Planning Bureau at the Department of Highways, along with five alumni currently working within the organization.

Dr. Piya is an alumnus of the Bachelor’s program in Civil Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi, Class of 1993 (34th cohort).

The meeting reflected the strong connection and enduring sense of belonging that alumni maintain with the University. It also served as an opportunity to share updates on the University’s ongoing developments in response to contemporary changes, including innovations in teaching and learning approaches, research utilization, and academic service initiatives. Importantly, the session provided a platform to gather alumni feedback, which will contribute to continuous curriculum improvement to better meet the needs of employers and future graduates.

This engagement represents a meaningful example of mutual support and collaboration among the KMUTT community, reinforcing the enduring spirit of partnership between the University and its alumni network.
