Logistics Innovation Research Center Conducts In-Depth Interviews with Key Stakeholders in Southern Thailand

From May 20 to 22, 2025, the Logistics Innovation Research Center conducted field visits to carry out in-depth interviews with key local organizations in Southern Thailand. The visited sites included Phrom Khiri Agricultural Cooperative Limited in Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, Mueang Surat Thani Agricultural Cooperative Limited, Uncle Song Garden, and Kamnan Sao in Surat Thani Province.

The activities were conducted under the framework of two major projects:

  1. “SMEs and Startup Capacity Development (GSB Step & Boost up Program 2025)”, led by Dr. Rachada Khambun.

  2. “Development of Cooperative Networks Based on a Circular Economy for Agricultural Product Exchange”, led by Assistant Professor Dr. Kanda Boonsotonsatit.

The research team also included Dr. Pathomphon Jitjaiman, Researcher, and Ms. Rachata Uampan, Logistics Technologist, who joined the field visit to exchange information and ideas with the target groups.

The primary objective of this initiative was to explore strategies for strengthening cooperative networks, promoting the exchange of agricultural products among farming groups, and driving sustainable and tangible income generation for local farmers.
