Photo Contest Guidelines and Criteria
Eligibility
- Participants must be students or staff of King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT).
- Entries can be submitted individually or in teams (up to 3 members per team).
Submission Requirements
- The submitted photos must feature only the new GMI building. Photos can be taken from either inside or outside the building, capturing its unique identity and architectural significance from any perspective.
- The submitted work must be original, taken by the participant(s), and must not have been previously published or entered into other competitions.
- Files must be in high-quality JPEG format with a resolution of at least 300 dpi or 1920×1080 pixels.
- Editing to enhance image quality is allowed, but altering or distorting the reality of the building is strictly prohibited.
- No watermarks, text, or symbols should be placed on the images.
- Each submission must include a title and a caption of no more than 100 words.
- A maximum of 3 photos per individual/team may be submitted.
- By submitting, participants agree to allow GMI to use the images for promotional purposes without requiring further permission.
Submission Process
- Submit your entries via the online form or email prgmi58@gmail.com with the following details:
- Students: Full name, student ID, year, program, faculty, phone number, and email.
- Staff: Full name, department, position, phone number, and email.
- Submission Deadline: March 15, 2025, at 23:59.
Prizes
Digital Camera Category
- Winner: 5,000 THB + Certificate + GMI souvenir
- Runner-up: Certificate + GMI souvenir
Smartphone Category
- Winner: 3,000 THB + Certificate + GMI souvenir
- Runner-up: Certificate + GMI souvenir
Popular Vote Award
- The entry with the highest likes and shares on social media will receive a certificate and GMI souvenir.

Judging Criteria
- Composition & Aesthetic – Overall visual appeal of the image.
- Creativity & Unique Perspective – Innovative and fresh viewpoints.
- Image Quality & Technical Skill – Technical execution of the photo.
- Identity Representation – How well the image conveys GMI’s identity.
- Caption & Storytelling – The effectiveness of the image description.
Additional Notes
- The judges’ decisions are final.
- The committee reserves the right to disqualify any entry that does not meet the contest requirements without prior notice.
Submissions are open until March 15, 2025, at 23:59.
