Master’s degree students in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from the Graduate School of Management and Innovation (GMI) participated in an industrial study visit as part of the LGM633 Technologies for Logistics and Supply Chain course. The visit took place at Bangkok Pattanamotor Co., Ltd. in Samut Sakhon Province on March 3, 2025. The company specializes in manufacturing automotive parts and tires for motorcycles and bicycles, incorporating automation systems in its logistics and supply chain management.
The study visit was led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Kanda Boonsotornsatit and Dr. Rachot Khambun, along with faculty members and 15 first-year students. The objective was to provide participants with insights into logistics and supply chain technologies, explore their applications for efficiency improvement, and analyze related challenges and obstacles. The knowledge gained from this visit will serve as a foundation for selecting topics and study approaches for the Technologies for Logistics and Supply Chain course.
This study visit was a valuable opportunity for students to gain real-world industry experience while enhancing their understanding of technology applications for improving logistics and supply chain systems.
