Graduate School of Management and Innovation, KMUTT, Partners with the SEC and LiVE Exchange to Enhance Capital Market Knowledge for Sustainable Entrepreneurs<\/p>\n
The Graduate School of Management and Innovation (GMI), King Mongkut\u2019s University of Technology Thonburi, in collaboration with the Securities and Exchange Commission Thailand (SEC) and LiVE Exchange, organized a special lecture entitled \u201cBusiness and Thai Capital Market Evaluation Concepts, Disclosure and Governance Standards, and SME Filing\u201d on 17 January 2026 at GMI, KMUTT.<\/p>\n
The session featured Mr. Paiboon Damrongvaree, Assistant Secretary-General of the SEC, and Ms. Kantnatcha Kanikul, Deputy Director, Issuer Division, LiVE Exchange, as guest speakers. The lecture aimed to strengthen in-depth understanding of capital market mechanisms and opportunities for modern entrepreneurs, particularly students enrolled in the MBA Program in Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Sustainability. The program seeks to foster sustainable business growth through appropriate access to capital markets.<\/p>\n
This lecture provided students with essential knowledge and practical insights across multiple dimensions, including:
\n\u2022 Capital fundraising mechanisms in the Thai capital market
\n\u2022 Key differences between LiVE Exchange, mai, and SET
\n\u2022 Roles and responsibilities of listed companies
\n\u2022 Structure of the Securities Registration Statement (Form 69-1)
\n\u2022 Guidelines for preparing Filing documents specifically for SMEs and startups<\/p>\n
These topics are designed to enhance students\u2019 readiness and capabilities to effectively lead businesses into the capital market ecosystem.<\/p>\n

Prof. Dr. Parames Woraseyanont, Assistant Dean for Partnership Affairs and course instructor of \u201cBusiness Data Evaluation, Capital Market Preparation, and Accurate and Complete Disclosure (EPM 634)\u201d, stated that the lecture content aligns closely with the program\u2019s objectives. The course emphasizes not only business growth but also long-term organizational sustainability. This initiative is part of the academic collaboration under the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between GMI and LiVE Exchange, which serves as a key mechanism for integrating practical industry knowledge into academic learning.<\/p>\n
