Associate Professor Dr. Taweesak Kritcharoen, Dean of the Graduate School of Management and Innovation (GMI), King Mongkut\u2019s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), participated in the international conference University Industry Innovation Network (UIIN 2025) under the theme \u201cReimagining Universities for Talent, Innovation, and Impact,\u201d held from 10\u201312 June 2025 in the Netherlands. This conference is considered one of the world\u2019s most important platforms, bringing together leaders in education and industry to exchange ideas and foster collaboration between universities and various sectors in organizational development, innovation creation, and the sustainable success of learners.<\/p>\n
During the three-day event, the Dean of GMI attended 10 in-depth sessions covering topics such as innovation management, promoting entrepreneurship within universities, organizational culture transformation, strategic collaboration with industry, and curriculum development in response to global challenges. Each session emphasized the application of academic knowledge alongside practical implementation, through experiential exchange with experts from around the world.<\/p>\n
Based on the experience gained, the Dean of GMI plans to integrate the insights into several projects, including the \u201cKMUTT 6+1 Flagships Track 1\u201d workshop to be held in July, the introduction of new conceptual frameworks for faculty evaluation and development, the preparation of the \u201cKMUTT Student Entrepreneurship Program (SEP)\u201d in the upcoming semester, as well as the development of the MBA program and the formulation of strategic collaboration frameworks with industrial partners in a more systematic manner.<\/p>\n
Moreover, participation in the conference has inspired new directions for GMI to drive the role of universities as mechanisms for social and economic advancement at the regional level, in line with the concept of the \u201c4th Generation University,\u201d which emphasizes integrated collaboration among government, private sector, civil society, and local communities.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
